FRC has been working over the past year to help the Free Library of Philadelphia renovate two of its branches. The Lawncrest Library, located in the northeast, and the Blanche A. Nixon Library, located in Cobbs Creek have been remodeled, refreshed, and are ready to be reopened.
FRC did a complete inventory, packed equipment, books, contents and furniture, and moved everything into storage before work began. After the renovations were done, FRC moved it all back in, to prepare for the reopening of these two vital community resources.
FRC is proud to be part of this ongoing effort by the Free Library of Philadelphia to refresh our neighborhoods.
